I was curious to read this book because I had heard that it was good, but when I heard what it was about I didn't know that I would like it. First off, it is not a complicated book, it's for younger readers. It's not deep or inspiring. But I loved it. It was compelling from the first page for me and I devoured it. I had a hard time putting it down sometimes. Ok, obviously I didn't really put it down because I read it in a day. After I finished I was glad that I had the second book next to me to start. I want to add that I was worried about the nature of the story (kids forced into a gladiator type 'reality show') but there was only one part near the end that was a little much for me. If you want a fast paced, hard to put down EASY read, this would be it.
