I couldn't put the first book down, and the same held true for this one. But I felt that some of it was repetitive (I can't say why, it's gives too much away) and as I often feel with the middle book in a trilogy, it just didn't quite do it for me. Mind you I like the story as a whole, but it's like the 'boring' part you know is going to happen before the climax. I don't know if that makes sense, but for right now that's the best I can do to describe it. You still have to read it though, because it is good and how else are you going to finish the whole story without knowing the middle :)
