I loved the way the story was written and had their not been some things that I just couldn't stomach/read than I would have given this book 5 stars. I physically got ill just reading the beginning of such a part in the book, skipped the rest and continued to skip such parts in the rest of the book. Even then it was too much for me. For that reason I won't recommend this book, but I do have to say that it was brilliantly written and had it dealt with other such mysteries I would have loved it. Too dark.
