So it has been awhile since we have put anything up on our blog, well actually I have never posted anything it has been all Mandi. I just wanted to tell everyone that today I felt hardcore. We had a customer call us to take care of a cockroach infestation and spray their crawl space for bugs. This was a more difficult job, so I met one of my techs at the house to make sure everything went well. When I got there everything was going well until I looked in the crawl space. It was an old home with about a 3 ft. high crawl space and it was crawling with spiders! I am not talking about a few, but hundreds. I have been in many crawl spaces spraying for pests, but nothing like this. There were webs, nests, and egg sacs everywhere. To make the situation worse, we were trying out a new chemical we have never used before to get rid of the cockroaches. I sprayed the first web I saw and the spider went running out like it was on fire. I thought about being down in the crawl space and all the hundreds of spiders being sprayed and coming out everywhere. I wanted to chicken out and make my tech crawl down in, but I manned up, took a deep breath and crawled down in. It was intense. My heart was racing pretty fast and I won't lie, I was a little scared. Long story short it made my day very exciting and it felt good when it was done.

hey kevin!--and you cute wife whom I haven't yet met!...all I have to say is WOW!! I HATE bugs and chris gets mad at me cus i make him squish the smallest of them--or I'll put of cup or garbage can over them until chris gets home so he can squish it! :D your wife is so cute...when is she due? do you know what you're having yet? Kevin- I know I've only met you once, but I think the fact that you willingly crawled into a small area with hundreds of spiders is both unfathomable and amazing! I won't come within ten feet of a spider. Snakes and lizards are fine but not spiders! Anyway, I blog hopped over from meg and ben's blog and I'm adding you to my list!
